TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR OPTOMETRISTS

COMPREHENSIVE OBSERVATION COURSE

SCOPE: You will be observing all the aspects of clinical activities going on. This will include Clinical skills, Diagnostic aspects like OCT, AutoPerimetry, Biometry, Fundus Photography, Pachymetry. This also includes observation of Methods, Processes and Patient Care in the IPD and Operation Room. This will bridge any gap if present during your learning period and also will give you an orientation which will help you in your future professional career.

ELIGIBILITY: Any Optometrist who has passed and completed his/her Internship.

DURATION: 6 weeks

Number of Trainees per Session: 2

OFFERED ON: January, April, July, November.

COURSE FEES : 4000 INR

OBSERVATION COURSE ON DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES

SCOPE: You will be observing Diagnostic aspects like OCT, AutoPerimetry, Biometry, Fundus Photography, Pachymetry. This will bridge any gap if present during your learning period and also will give you an orientation which will help you in your future professional career.

ELIGIBILITY: Any Optometrist who has passed and completed his/her Internship.

DURATION: 1 month

Number of Trainees per Session: 2

OFFERED ON: February, May, September, December

COURSE FEES : 3000 INR

TRAINING ON APPLANATION TONOMETRY

SCOPE: You will know how to do Applanation Tonometry. This will help you to perform one of the most important examinations in Glaucoma patients in your future professional career.

ELIGIBILITY: Any Optometrist who has passed and completed his/her Internship.

DURATION: 2 weeks

Number of Trainees per Session: 2

OFFERED ON: 1st halves of the months March, June, August

COURSE FEES : 2000 INR

TRAINING COURSE ON DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES (HANDS ON)

SCOPE: You will be learning Diagnostic aspects like OCT, Auto-Perimetry, Biometry, Fundus Photography , Pachymetry. At the end of the course you will become proficient in performing these very important Diagnostic procedures.This will help you in your future professional career.

ELIGIBILITY: Any Optometrist who has passed and completed his/her Internship.

DURATION: 2 months

Number of Trainees per Session: 2

OFFERED ON: January, March , May, July, September, November

COURSE FEES : 6000 INR
